    Starting July 5th, carnival wristbands may only be purchased on site at a Butler Kiosk in the Carnival areas. The kiosks take both credit cards and cash. Any pre-purchased POP (unlimited ride wristband) need to redeemed at the POP redemption booth in the Carnival Midway.

    2024 Ride Description

    The 1st Squadron is a great ride for the whole family! These jet fighters have a small steering wheel that allows the children to maneuver the ride up and down as if they are the ones flying the jet through the air.

    The lights and excitement of the midway literally become a blur as The Alien Abduction sweeps you off of your feet. Spinning at 24 RPM, The Alien Abduction uses centrifugal force to float the passengers off the floor, giving them the feeling of weightlessness. All aboard this 45-person capacity Starship for one wild ride.

    For decades, audiences have been awed by the beautifully handcrafted majesty of the carousel. To witness The Americana Merry Go Round is to see this piece of Americana in all its glory. This 30-foot Americana Themed Carousel features jumping horses, and 2 chariots. Parents and children create memories while they enjoy the sights and sounds of this beautiful ride together!

     

    The Beach Party Funhouse takes riders through a silly adventure. This crazy funhouse is a thrilling trip through a maze of unusual sights and sounds! Inside and out, the Beach Party is filled with tricks and adventures, complete with music, lights, and picturesque scenery!

    A towering tradition of Butler Amusements, the Century Wheel dominates the Midway day and night, offering patrons a sweeping view from a height of nearly 70 feet! Passengers are seated in separate gondolas and then whisked smoothly over the top and down again, reminiscent of the Ferris wheel. The Century Wheel is a pleasant ride for the entire family. The Century Wheel is more of a showcase than ever! Recently equipped with a brand-new LED lighting package, the wheel uses less energy and produces a magnificent light show!

    Setting another precedent in the outdoor amusement industry, Butler Amusements was the first to premier the exciting Cliff Hanger, an unusual amusement ride where, instead of sitting, passengers lie horizontally within the frame of colorful gliders. After riders are buckled in, the ride begins to turn and then rises in the air for a thrilling, soaring sensation before gently gliding back to “Earth”.

    On the Cool Bears, four jolly bears welcome children and parents aboard for a smooth ride. Passengers can move the ride at their own pace by turning a giant steering wheel inside the bear’s belly spinning themselves round and round while the entire ride revolves as well.

    The passengers control the action as eight Dinosaurs take to the air.  In addition to the circular motion of the ride, children can control the vertical action of their individual cars by pushing or pulling the control bars.  Each car holds three children or one adult and one child.

    With a delighted dragon leading the way, the Dragon Wagon is an exciting coaster rie for children and parents alike. On a circular track, the dragon travels a curvy route, finally ending where it began.

    Haunted Mansion – Passengers are invited to climb aboard coffin like carriages which seat two passengers at a time. When the operator engages the ride, passengers creep along a winding track which takes you to the Haunted Mansion. Complete darkness awaits riders as their carriage navigates twists and turns.

    Get your little motor runnin’ on this high-octane kiddy ride. The Hot Rods is an umbrella ride with mini classic cars to ride in which travel in a 360-degree rotation. This ride will bring out the little grease monkey in any child!

    The Jeeps is an umbrella ride with mini-Jeeps to ride in. Each car holds two passengers and includes a steering wheel for each child. A kid’s first ride. The Roadster travels in a gentle 360-degree rotation.

    Enjoy all the fun of the sweet colors and savory sensation of a lollipop without the calories and sugar! This brightly colored ride has 16 swings decorated with large swirl lollipops and lights. The centerpiece is a large clown complete with a red nose and floppy shoes.

    All Aboard!! This fun-filled train trip for the whole family takes place in brightly colored cartoon-like cars. Passengers aboard the train at the station and with merry music, and bright scenery, the journey begins around a circular track. Fun for everyone is in store on the Looney Tooter Train.

    Celebrate one of America’s brightest and boldest holidays without having to travel far. The Mardi Gras is a self-contained celebration of the famed New Orleans Holiday.  Two stories of exciting mirror mazes, moving escalators, music and lights combine for thrills, inside and out – day or night!                  

     

    Spin, Twist and Shout while riding this incredibly thrilling ride! The Mind Winder is a swing ride with a literal twist. Each car seats two riders who can spin the ride car as fast as they’d like while the whole ride spins in a 40-foot circle. This is truly a thrill ride!

    Kids will delight in this jungle themed funhouse. It is full of tricks and thrills to keep them coming back to navigate the maze of mirrors, air tricks and spiral slide.

    The Pharaoh’s Fury is a family ride with an Egyptian ship theme. The ship swings back and forth via a pendulum. The pendulum is supported by four large towers that give the ride a sturdy base. Once at full speed, the ride gives the patrons a feeling of weightlessness.

    Our rockin’ themed ride will light up the midway to the delight of fairgoers. The Rock Star is a platform ride with two-tiered stadium style seating the moves up and over in a circular fashion as riders leave their stomach behind.

    Families delight as they spin in two directions at the same time. The Scrambler has 12 seats each seat capable of holding 3 people. The main frame spins as each arm of seats spins independently, creating a feeling of funky flight. The Scrambler also features Deluxe Lighting and programmed incandescent “Ultra Lights.”

    No playground would ever be complete without a slide! Kids of any age enjoy the thrill of this giant slide as they sail down the undulating path.  Passengers climb a stairway, higher and higher to the top of the slide and then laugh and squeal with delight as they sail to the bottom.

    Round and round they go and where they stop, nobody knows! An old favorite that has thrilled and excited patrons for generations, the Tilt-A-Whirl is a swirling experience for teens and adults. Separate cars rotate individually as the entire ride revolves up, down and around!

    T-REX

    The T-Rex has a familiar look of the classic scrambler, but with an extra special kick that multiplies the fun and excitement. Four arms are connected to seats in pods of three. Each pod of seats spins counterclockwise while the entire arm turns counterclockwise giving riders the feeling of being in the center of a crazy vortex. The T-Rex has 18 seats each holding 2 adults per seat.

    You won’t have to brave a storm to experience the wind and thrills on the Typhoon. See the fair in a blur as the fabulous Typhoon takes you on a fast, up-down-around slopes that have you travel faster and faster, then backward too.

    The Viper ride is another recent spectacular ride that Butler Amusements will be bringing to the midway this year. A colossal ride with a brilliant green snake theme will take riders on a whirlwind journey. The large arm across the entire top of the ride tilts and spins. At each end of the giant arm are two clusters holding two-part seating which spin independently as well. The open-air design allows riders to experience spectacular twirling views . The Viper seats 24 passengers and uses state of the art shoulder bars.

    The Wacky Worm coaster is designed for the whole family. This two-level family roller coaster is a great way for the entire family to enjoy the carnival. This brightly painted worm, surrounded by flower cup lights, is a charming addition to the Midway.

    The German Wave Swinger is a work of art, combining the traditional swing ride with lavish, hand painted scenery. The Wave Swinger lifts riders slowly from the platform and then proceeds to take them on a leisurely ride, tilting one way and another to add to the excitement. Its usual size, unforgettable scenery, lights, music, and ride make the Wave Swinger a Butler Amusements classic.

    This kid ride features individual mini boats that float in water along a circular path. A great carnival ride for first timers!

    The Century Wheel is sure to offer spectacular views of the midway.  The Century Wheel was recently fitted with high efficiency LED lights. Hundreds of bright beautiful patterns fill the sky, all while using less energy! Towering 67 feet.

    The world-class Super Shot Drop Tower is one of Butler Amusements’ most popular rides. Unlike any other ride on our midway, the Super Shot will bring a new dimension of thrills to your carnival goers. 12 passengers are loaded into each circular passenger station. Over the shoulder harnesses secure patrons while they are gently lifted up the 90 foot tower. Once the passenger station reaches the top, it is released in an accelerated freefall and riders experience G-Forces more than 3½ times normal. Riders are then cushioned by a magnetic braking system stopping the station before it reaches the base of the tower. The Super Shot is an exciting spectacular addition to the Butler midway.

Made in England it stands 45 feet high and has 6 – 4 passenger seats.  Passengers sit in one of four seats on the outside edge of the ride.  As the Shake Up begins to rise six sets of seats begin to spin.  Up, down and around passengers’ thrill to the sight and feel of Shake Up.

    The Freak Out, manufactured by KMG –Netherlands boasts an energy efficient light package utilizing LED’s which produce clear bright color while using 90% less power to operate.

The Raptor has 18 seats each holding 2 adults per seat.

    MAJOR RIDES AND SHOWS

    Families delight as they spin in two directions at the same time. The Haywire has 12 seats each seat capable of holding 3 people. The main frame spins as each arm of seats spins independently, creating a feeling of funky flight. The Haywire also features Deluxe Lighting and programmed incandescent “Ultra Lights.”

    For decades, audiences have been awed by the beautifully handcrafted majesty of the carousel. To witness The Americana Merry Go Round is to see this piece of Americana in all its glory. This 30 foot Americana Themed Carousel features jumping horses, and 2 chariots. Parents and children create memories while they enjoy the sights and sounds of this beautiful ride together!

    The Wacky Worm coaster is designed for the whole family. This two-level family roller coaster is a great way for the entire family to enjoy the carnival. This brightly painted worm, surrounded by flower cup lights, is a charming addition to the Midway.

    Enjoy all the fun of the sweet colors and savory sensation of a lollipop without the calories and sugar! This brightly colored ride has 16 swings decorated with large swirl lollipops and lights. The centerpiece is a large clown complete with a red nose and floppy shoes.

    This exciting ride, manufactured by Wisdom Industries, is the very first of its kind and Butler Amusements is the first to own it! The Winder Surfer has eight cars each with a sail and a two-person capacity seat. Each wing is controlled by the riders, so the seat flies up and down. The center of the Wind Surfer tips and lifts to simulate the swooping action of Wind Surfing on ocean waves.

    Passengers take their seats and then slowly rise into the air and they’re off on a variation of the swing, called the Yo Yo. As it turns the top leans, giving riders the thrill of ‘flying’! A family ride for youngsters, teens, and adults.

    Round and round they go and where they stop, nobody knows! An old favorite that has thrilled and excited patrons for generations, the Tilt-A-Whirl is a swirling experience for teens and adults. Separate cars rotate individually as the entire ride revolves up, down and around!

    The Cliff Hanger is an unusual amusement ride where, instead of sitting, passengers lie horizontally within the frame of colorful gliders. After riders are buckled in, the ride begins to turn and then rises in the air for a thrilling, soaring sensation before gently gliding back to “Earth”.

    A staple of the American Midway, this 16-seat Ferris wheel has eight front facing cars holding two riders in each.  It offers both a gentle ride around the 360-degree vertical circle and a thrilling view, as riders are lifted high above the ground and able to see for miles.

    FAMILY RIDES

    On the Dizzy Dragon four larger than life dragon’s welcome children and parents aboard for a smooth ride. Once riders climb into the dragon’s belly they are seated and can move the ride at their own pace by turning a giant steering wheel. This wheel spins the entire dragon and spins the entire party while entire ride revolves as well.

    All aboard!! This fun-filled train trip for the whole family takes place in brightly colored cartoon-like cars. Passengers board the train at the station and with merry music, and bright scenery, the journey begins around a circular track. Fun for everyone is in store on the Looney tooter.

    The new jump around is a first of its kind, fully interactive family ride that is sure to be a hit amongst kids of all ages. Brand new to Butler Amusements in 2007 the jump around combines dune buggy themed vehicles with a unique, patent pending interactive bouncing motion. Up to four children or one adult and two children can be accommodated in each vehicle for a capacity of 600 rides per hour.

    The Jungle is an interactive, two-story jungle gym for children measuring 36”-48” inches. It includes a cargo net to climb, obstacle punching bags and a 15-foot slide.

    KID RIDES

    The Jumping Jungle Funhouse is a walk-through funhouse with a wild twist. Patrons can enjoy scenes from the jungle while negotiating obstacles. Unusual sights and sounds mixed with classic funhouse tricks make the Jumping Jungle fun for the entire family. The beautiful scenery and two stories of fun will attract all funhouse enthusiasts.

    The Airport 8 is a great ride for the whole family! These jet fighters have a small steering wheel that allows the children to maneuver the ride up and down as if they are the ones flying the jet through the air.

    This kid ride features individual mini boats that float in water along a circular path. A great carnival ride for first timers!

    The Dragon Wagon is a kid size coaster. Riders travel in an undulating circle around a raised track. The coaster cars are themed like a dragon and each section of its body hold two passengers.

    Gets your little motor running on this high-octane kiddy ride. The Roadsters is an umbrella ride with mini classic cars to ride in which travel in a 360-degree rotation. This ride will bring out the little grease monkey in any child!
