Summer of Fun FAQ’s

What is the Summer of fun?

            The Summer of Fun is a modified fair that was created with COVID regulations and guidelines in place and modified as the pandemic impact lessened.

What is happening at the Summer of Fun?   

There are 3 basic components to the Summer of Fun. 1 – Arena events, 2 – Fair type food, 3 – Livestock for the youth.  There is also a limited shopping experience that will happen withing the fair food area.

Are there carnival rides?
            There is no carnival this year.  With the modified fair, you will not find a carnival or any carnival games.

Are there competitive exhibits, floral displays and other contests?
           
No, with this modified fair, there is no regular competitive exhibits, floral displays, arts and crafts or the usual contests that you see each year. 

Is the fair open every day?
            No. Since this is a modified fair, the fairgrounds are only open for the scheduled events, fair food and shopping.  For the exact hours, see the schedule above.

What is the cost for parking?
            It is free parking in the CostCo parking lots.  It is recommended that you parking the North Costco lot and enter from Fulkerth or Broadway. 

What is the cost for admission?
            It is free admission to get onto the grounds for the Fair Bites and Shopping.  If you are interested in purchasing tickets for one of the events in the FoodMaxx Arena, you can purchase online or at the fair box office. 

Can I buy tickets online?
            Yes, they can be purchased online at www.stancofair.com.  Or through our ticketing partner, etix.com.  Any other website is a not an approved ticket provider.

Can I bring in my own food or drink?
            There is plenty of food and drink available to purchase.  You may bring specific food for young children or special dietary needs.  No outside alcohol allowed.  And no alcohol is allowed to be consumed in the parking lots.

Is there beer garden or can I buy alcohol at the fairgrounds?
            There is no alcohol in the food or shopping areas.  Beer is sold within the arena during the events only.  It may not be taken outside of the arena. 

Will this be the same format for next year?
           
No, at this time we are going to be planning on a real, and full fair for 2022.  The 2022 Fair dates will be announced sometime in September.
