Junior Livestock Auction Bids & Updates

TURLOCK (July 15th, 2021) – The end of the Stanislaus County Fair’s Junior Livestock Auction is just around the corner! The Fair will host three sales in the coming days inside the Associated Feed Livestock Pavilion: the 57th Annual Market Beef Sale on July 16, the 57th Annual JLA Market Swine Sale on July 17, and the 57th Annual JLA Market Goat & Market Sheep Sale on July 24. The Central Valley’s finest livestock will be on the auction block, thanks to the hard work and indelible efforts of the 4-H exhibitors, FFA exhibitors, and other sales participants!
 
First up is The 57th Market Beef Sale. It will begin on Friday, July 16th at 7PM in Barn 4. Market Beef animals are ONLY available to bid on in-person in the B-4 Show Ring.
 
The 57th Annual JLA Market Swine Sale will be on Saturday, July 17th at 9AM in the Thurman Pavilion. The Market Swine Sale will take place in-person and streamed online sponsored by American Ag Credit.
 
Our last auction is The 57th Annual JLA Market Goat and Market Sheep Sale. It will start on Saturday, July 24th at 9AM in the Thurman Pavilion. This sale will be in-person and streamed online sponsored by American Ag Credit.

Destruction Derby Mayhem and Annihilation at the Stanislaus County Fair!

TURLOCK (July 13th, 2021) – Destruction Derby Mayhem and Annihilation are charging towards the Central Valley! On July 16 and 17, crashing cars, daredevil drivers, and demolition action that rivals The Fast and the Furious will be spotlighted at the Stanislaus County Fairgrounds Summer of Fun FoodMaxx Arena Series Presented by Coors Light! Don’t wreck your chance to experience this, Demolition Derby fans!

Destruction Derby Mayhem is the main motorized spectacle on July 16. The drivers of the coolest modified cars will clash, crash, dodge, and do whatever it takes to come out the victor! The doors open at 5:30pm for a 7:00pm showing. There are no motorhomes for this event.

On July 17, Destruction Derby Annihilation will entertain the spectators of the Summer of Fun! Once again, brave drivers will obliterate their opponents’ vehicles (and their own) with awe-inspiring, metal-crunching power! There can only be ONE winner of the Destruction Derby! The doors open at 5:30pm for a 7:00pm showing. As with Destruction Derby Mayhem, there are no motorhomes.

Be sure to visit the fairgrounds early for dinner or snacks at the Kids Dental Fair Food Bites stations! Tickets to the Stanislaus County Fairgrounds Summer of Fun FoodMaxx Arena Series Presented by Coors Light are available online at www.stancofair.com.

You can still purchase your tickets for the Summer of Fun’s last days! Monster Trucks presented by the Modesto Nuts, the car-crushing dinosaur Megasaurus, and other highlights will be featured on July 23 and 24. The Kids Dental Fair Food Bites stations will be open from 10am to 10pm on Fridays & Saturdays, and 10am to 7pm on Sundays. Free parking is available for all patrons in the North Parking Lot off of Fulkerth Rd. and North Broadway.
