Stanislaus County Fair Honors Our Fallen

Turlock, CA (May 27, 2019) – The Stanislaus County Fair would like to honor our military from today’s War on Terror going back to World War II, including those who have died, while serving the United States of America by adding a Remember the Fallen Exhibit.

“While we love to add new and exciting attractions and exhibits to our Fair each year,” said Adrenna Alkhas, spokesperson for the Stanislaus County Fair. “We are excited to have such an honorable memorial exhibit to recognize those who have fought for our country.”

A very emotional memorial, “Remembering Our Fallen,” is a stark reminder of the ultimate sacrifice made by 750 Fallen from California killed in The War on Terror while wearing our country’s uniform in a war zone. The photo memorial, which includes military and personal photos of each of California’s Fallen, is traveling throughout the state and will be coming to Turlock.

This memorial, and 17 other state memorials representing half of our country’s Fallen since 9/11/01, have been created by Patriotic Productions, a non-profit organization headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska.  The goal is to complete a memorial for every state.
