“No Scrubs” at the Stanislaus County Fair

Turlock, CA (February 7, 2019) – One of the greatest legacies in music history can be summed up by just three letters – TLC.

The Stanislaus County Fair welcomes TLC, Tuesday, July 16, 2019.  TLC will be performing on the Coors Light Variety Free Stage at 8:30 p.m.  The concert will be hosted by KHOP @ 95.1 and is free with the price of Fair admission.

“I grew up listening to TLC and they have been such icons to the age demographic that populates our fair and we are more than excited to welcome them this year,” said Adrenna Alkhas, spokesperson for the Stanislaus County Fair. “Their undeniable chemistry and great music are what will make this concert an unforgettable one.”

TLC is known to be one of the best-selling American girl-groups of all-time. The characters, TLC, merely hint at the talent of Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins, Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas, and the late Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes. Their journey encompasses immortal anthems such as “Waterfalls,” “Creep,” “No Scrubs,” and “Unpretty,” to name a few, as well as sales of 70 million records worldwide, four GRAMMY® Awards, two RIAA diamond-certified albums among a total of four multiplatinum albums, 10 Top 10 singles, and four Number 1 singles.

TLC has evolved so much since they first came out, but the issues that men and women go through haven’t changed and is what inspires their music.

The 2019 Stanislaus County Fair opens Friday, July 12th for a 10-day run. Fair guests can count on an award-winning experience that has been over 108 years in the making. Discounted Fair admission tickets, unlimited ride wristbands, and the Fair season pass will be on sale beginning Saturday, April 20, 2019. The 2019 Fair will feature a spectacular children’s area presented by Sky Trek Aviation.
