Turlock, CA (February 8, 2018) – The Stanislaus County Fair is getting ready to have its floors rumble and shake with the incredible energy produced by ‘70s rock band, Grand Funk Railroad.
The Stanislaus County Fair welcomes Grand Funk Railroad, Saturday, July 21, 2018. The high-energy, five-piece group will be performing on the Bud Light Variety Free Stage at 8:30 p.m. The concert will be hosted by 104.1 The Hawk and is free with the price of Fair admission.
“It would be wrong to talk about ‘70’s rock and not mention Grand Funk Railroad,” said Adrenna Alkhas, spokesperson for the Stanislaus County Fair. “The beloved band’s spunk and liveliness has impacted many artists and on July 21ST, will impact many fans.”

In Nashville, before anyone ever referred to the southern end of Broadway as SoBro, the Hillsboro Village neighborhood boasted Sunset Grill, a restaurant that during the 1990s proved as integral to Nashville recorded music as other metropolitan eateries that over the years became legendary hubs for creative businesses in New York and Los Angeles. In 1991 a group of 4 young street hardened boys by the name of B.O.N.E. Enterpri$e used their musical talents to obtain one way bus tickets to make their way out from the rough city of Cleveland, Ohio. They headed out to Los Angeles and were determined to perform for the top record labels at the time. They constantly called in to prove themselves. Their efforts paid off when they rapped over the phone to legendary N.W.A. member, Eazy E, who owned Ruthless Records. They displayed their melodic rapid fire lyrics with group harmony.
