Turlock, CA (May 22, 2019) – Stingrays, tigers, and puppets, Oh my! Let your imagination run wild at the Stanislaus County Fair with three new features. The Stanislaus County Fair introduces the interactive Walk in the Wild Exhibit, the spectacular Magical Moments from the Wizard of Oz Marionette Show, and the live Stingrays Exhibit!

“We try to make each Fair better than the year before, having new exhibits and entertainment achieves that,” said Adrenna Alkhas, spokesperson for the Stanislaus County Fair. “We are extremely excited to have such wonderful, innovative and hands-on attractions at this year’s Fair.”

The New Walk in the Wild, presented by Doctors Medical Center and Emanuel Medical Center, will replace the Dinomania Exhibit. Guests can walk through a jungle atmosphere with exotic animals from all over the world, such as tigers and bobcats! Walk in The Wild Side is a non-profit 501c3 organization dedicated to helping all species of wild animals who, for various reasons, find themselves without a place to live out their lives.

The New and exciting Magical Moments from The Wizard of Oz presents beloved songs from the “Wizard of Oz” as Dorothy and Toto dance and sing their way down the “Yellow Brick Road.” Meet the Scarecrow, Tin-Man, Cowardly Lion and many other delightful… and not so delightful characters from that classic children’s book by L. Frank Baum. Step back in time with this unique marionettes’ performance, presented on a beautifully hand-crafted Italian Baroque
Puppet Theater. This traditional style of puppetry is something rarely seen in today’s modern world. An experience your family will truly cherish for year to come.

Not only are puppets in town, but live stingrays are too! The sea life is coming to the fairgrounds. Enjoy this live, hands-on experience to learn about marine life and all its exotic creatures. Guests can feed the stingrays as well as touch them while learning. Come check out the world’s only traveling “self-contained” Stingray exhibit.

The 2019 Stanislaus County Fair opens Friday, July 12th for a 10-day run. Fair guests can count on an award-winning experience that has been over 108 years in the making. Discounted Fair admission tickets, unlimited ride wristbands, and the Fair season pass will be on sale beginning Saturday, April 20, 2019. Corporate ticket sales will also be available to purchase at a highly discounted rate.

The 2019 Fair will feature a spectacular children’s area presented by Sky Trek Aviation.
