About Water Show Productions

In 1985 after over a decade as competitor in professional high dive competitions and appearing in thousands of live shows, Dana Kunze opened Watershow Productions Incorporated with the same determination that made him an 8 Time World High Dive Champion and 7 Time World Record Holder. He created new shows and incorporated original “themes” into what had previously been a standard style of show, now 32 years later he has a menu of over 25 different shows and themes to choose from and his clients have included the World’s largest Amusement and Water Park chains, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, State and County Fairs, Boat and Sport Shows, and Corporate clients for parties and Special Events.

Dana’s expertise with heights and stunts helped to create the World’s First Bungee Diving show “Bungee Dive Spectacular.” Co-created with Tom Sailor, this concept led to the development of the popular rides “Skycoaster” and “The Catapult” seen at most Amusement Parks and State Fairs today.

In early 2009, Dana was involved with other First of a Kind Projects when Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines called to announce that their new ship “Oasis of The Seas” would not only be The World’s Largest Cruise Liner and have the World’s First Aqua Theater at Sea.  Watershow Productions was selected to create the new show concept and Dana and his team wrote, produced and commissioned the equipment and recruited the talent for “Splish Splash” a one of a kind production that continues to be a hit!  In 2013 the Watershow Productions’ act,  “Professor Splash” achieved international celebrity status after several appearances on “America’s Got Talent.”

About Dana Kunze

Dana Kunze began his professional High Diving career at the tender age of 13 when after being trained by World Record holder John Tobler and diving off most of the bridges in Minnesota, he joined a crew of professional High Divers on the boardwalk in Wildwood New Jersey. Dana was a fast learner and by the age of 16 and after only 3 short summers of show diving became the youngest professional diver in the World to dive off of the Famed Cliffs of Acapulco while being featured on ABC Sports in what would become a decade of appearances on ABC Wide World of Sports, NBC Sportsworld, ESPN and even Japan’s Fuji TV!.. Over that next decade Dana would go on to win 8 World Championships in High Diving and break the World’s Record for the Highest Dive ever done -7 times! His last World Record of 172 feet had surpassed 25 million hits on YouTube (some now removed) and is still recognized as the legitimate World Record for The Highest Dive ever done after 33 years!
