UPDATE: Livestock Auction
Turlock, CA (May 15, 2020) –The 38th District Agriculture Association Board of Directors had announced on Friday, April 24, 2020 that the 2020 Fair will be postponed until 2021.
Fair officials had multiple discussions with Stanislaus County and State health officials, therefore, in an effort to support the Governor and stopping the COVID-19 Fair officials had to make the ultimate decision. With the postponement of the Fair, officials at the Fair wanted to maintain and help the livestock program be successful this year.
The Stanislaus County Fair is working on a plan to support Exhibitors with their Market Animal Projects this year. Options include a Virtual Auction and/or possibly a live Market Animal Show. The decision will come after June 1, 2020 to determine which direction to hold the auction. Exhibitors can now enter their Market Animals on the Fair’s website at www.stancofair.com . Online preliminary entry is available at no charge, just click on the “Virtual Livestock Program” link on our main page. Please check back on the website for current news and updates. In Nashville, before anyone ever referred to the southern end of Broadway as SoBro, the Hillsboro Village neighborhood boasted Sunset Grill, a restaurant that during the 1990s proved as integral to Nashville recorded music as other metropolitan eateries that over the years became legendary hubs for creative businesses in New York and Los Angeles. In 1991 a group of 4 young street hardened boys by the name of B.O.N.E. Enterpri$e used their musical talents to obtain one way bus tickets to make their way out from the rough city of Cleveland, Ohio. They headed out to Los Angeles and were determined to perform for the top record labels at the time. They constantly called in to prove themselves. Their efforts paid off when they rapped over the phone to legendary N.W.A. member, Eazy E, who owned Ruthless Records. They displayed their melodic rapid fire lyrics with group harmony.
Everything continues to change. Leaders cycle in and out of office. Trends fall in and out of style. Vinyl dies and comes back to life. Television shows go off the air and end up somewhere on the internet.
Dedicating nearly his entire life to music and achieving superstardom when he was just 17, Sean Kingston has amassed an untold amount of experience as a singer/songwriter over the years.
