Turlock, CA (April 24, 2020) –The 38th District Agriculture Association Board of Directors announced Friday, April 24, 2020 that the 2020 Fair will be postponed until 2021. For the third time in the Fair’s history since World War I and World War II, the unprecedented decision had to be made to postpone.
The decision comes a week after Governor Gavin Newsom announced in a press briefing that mass gatherings would not likely occur in the months of June, July, and August. Fair officials also had multiple discussions with Stanislaus County and State health officials, therefore, in an effort to support the Governor and stopping the COVID-19 Fair officials had to make the ultimate decision.
“It is with heavy heart that we must postpone the fair,” said Matt Cranford, chief operating officer of the Stanislaus County Fair. “Our priority is our community’s health and safety as well as our staff.”
Cranford stated that this is a tremendous economic impact on the fair and fair partners. But also acknowledges that we all must do our part in the community to get through this quickly and safely. Fair officials recognize that many of our youth have started their livestock projects and the fair staff is working on a virtual livestock auction plan to help them complete their fair experience without having a fair.

In 1991 a group of 4 young street hardened boys by the name of B.O.N.E. Enterpri$e used their musical talents to obtain one way bus tickets to make their way out from the rough city of Cleveland, Ohio. They headed out to Los Angeles and were determined to perform for the top record labels at the time. They constantly called in to prove themselves. Their efforts paid off when they rapped over the phone to legendary N.W.A. member, Eazy E, who owned Ruthless Records. They displayed their melodic rapid fire lyrics with group harmony.
